Aug 30, 2014 12:27 AM

The Rangers have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with David Murphy.

The deal is worth $5.75 million, according to sources.

That represents the midpoint between the arbitration figures exchanged by Texas and Murphy a few days ago.

Murphy was the last arbitration-eligible player for the Rangers who had yet to agree on a new deal.
